Day 29

Today we heading into the town of Cardwell to visit the Cardwell Seaview Deli Café BIG crab (our second one on the trip). We kept heading north and reached the town of Tully, this is where we did a little detour.

This area is called the Cassowary coast with thw southern cassowary is found in the area's tropical rainforests, So of course we had to check out the BIG Cassowary at Wongaling Beach. just up the road is Mission beach,nestled between two World Heritage-listed wonders, the Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics, Mission Beach is full of unspoilt natural experiences.

Back towards the highway we stumbled across Charley's Chocolate Factory and took the Chocolate Tour, It is unique in Australia and one of only a few places in the world where you can experience the whole journey of chocolate from “Cocoa Tree to Chocolate Bar.
