Day 17

We left the northern suburb of Nundah and headed up the Bruce Highway towards Caboolture, this is also the gateway to Bribie Island.

From Caboolture we took the scenic way towards Beerburrum and then onto Steve Irwin Way and took in the view of the Glasshouse Mountains before a stop over at Australia Zoo to check out all the animals and off course the Crocs!

Not far down the road we found the Big Kart Track and couldn't resist a few laps of the 1.2km track (which is the biggest in Australia! (Does this count as another Big Thing?)

Back onto the Bruce Highway and for our next stop at the Famous Big Pineapple a Nambour, this Big Thing has been around since the 1970's and is a heritage site.

A trip to the sunshine coast means taking some time to explore the every changing Eumundi Markets Renowned for its locally made artisan treasures there's no other market quite like it. This is where we ended the day today.
