Day 22

After reaching Rockhampton we kept walking up the Bruce highway towards Marlborough, this small country town is home to The Marlborough Museum,

Marlborough is also famous in the jewellery business for producing the world's finest chrysoprase, a semi-precious gem once much admired by Alexander the Great and Cleopatra. They also have the Gumigil Chrysoprase Mine  which is the largest chrysoprase mine in the world.

Our stop over for the night was a small town called Joyview which is on our way to our next destination of Mackay.
