Day 21

Back on the road and we headed up to Gladstone, If your idea of a good time involves spending it on the water, Gladstone offers a multitude of ways to dive right in. Whether it’s casting off in some of Australia’s most bountiful waters, snorkelling crystal-clear sea or surfing Queensland’s most northern surf break, there are plenty of ways to cool off in and around this diverse and vibrant central coast town. Gladstone has a Maritime Museum which is home to the HMAS Gladstone and is the gateway to Heron Island, Lady Musgrave island.

We are on the final stretch to Rockhampton and not too many touristy things on the way. We ended the day at Marmor
